Popcorn sales are an annual Scouting America fundraising effort with proceeds going towards the support of scouting activities, primarily in the local area. A portion of each scout's sales proceeds goes towards their annual dues payment (30% commission rate for online sales). There are also prizes for reaching certain sales thresholds.
