Fees for Cub Scouting are a bit complicated - we'll try to make it as simple as we can!
There are 3 annual fees for our program. (2025-26 fee amounts are listed below)
The BSA National Fee is $85 - This fee covers things like insurance for the cub scout program and curriculum development and resources
The NCAC Council Activity Fee is $80 - This fee covers things like local camp facilities, advertising supplies, and training for our cub scout leaders
The Pack 2011 Dues are $85 - This covers the cost for awards for our scouts, leader registration fees, and supplies for den and pack meetings
Some of our activities require additional fees in order to cover costs. We do it this way instead of simply raising dues for everyone because some of these activities may not be things that all our scouts want to participate in, and that's ok! Some examples of common one-time fees include:
Attending campouts
Attending summer camps
Pinewood Derby kit (Currently $7)
Some District/Council events (Like Camp-o-ree)
Uniform purchase
We don't want any interested child to miss out on scouting for financial reasons!
Scholarships are available for National and NCAC fees
Pack 2011 fundraises to cover the Pack fee for scouts on scholarship
Scholarships are also available towards summer camp fees
If you need financial support and would like to join our pack, you can email committeechair@pack2011.org, or take a look at our how-to apply for support page. We keep information about scouts on scholarship limited to our Committee Chair and Treasurer.
We offer every scout the opportunity to participate in BSA's fall popcorn sale. The portion of sales by your scout that are sent to our Pack will be applied against their expenses/dues for the year.
Your National and NCAC Activity fees are paid online when you register for Cub Scouts, and you will get email reminders to renew every 12 months.
We collect the Pack Dues separately, usually in the fall, and will send out information about that when we are collecting them.
We usually send out Cheddarup links to register for activities like campouts that require additional one-time charges.
