It takes a lot of help to run a Cub Scout Pack! The more hands, the lighter the load! We appreciate any and all help our parents and families can give to making sure we continue to have an excellent Scouting program for our kids!
We have lots of volunteer positions and jobs - some are big and some are small, but ALL are important! You don't have to have been a scout, or even know anything about scouting to volunteer, even as a leader - the other leaders in the pack are here to help you out, plus there is all sorts of training available! Some of our larger volunteer positions also earn the volunteer's family a discount on their scouting dues.
In Pack 2011, we believe in supporting our volunteers as best we can. Where possible, we like to have volunteers overlap with someone who has done the job before, and we try to make sure we have documentation and supplies on how to run volunteer positions and lessons learned, so nobody has to jump into the deep end!
Pack 2011 provides the following benefits to our leaders and volunteer positions listed on this page:
10% discount on Pack activity fees for each scout in the pack
Reimburses for leader registration fees
Reimburses for cost to attend BALOO or University of Scouting
If you are interested in any of these positions, please let our leaders know! Don't be shy, even if someone is already doing that job - nobody can do everything, but we have plenty of volunteers who are happy to switch jobs around if there's something you're passionate about!
