Creating artwork during online classes, I believe was a huge complicated challenge because my teacher wasn't in the same space as me to help me. I really wasn't able to receive as much criticism as I wanted to. However, I believe I was able to meet most of the expectations. However, I believe that my abilities or my pencil techniques can improve, in order to make my artwork look much more professional. The reason I am proud of this project is because I believe that this was my best artwork from this year that was specifically in pencil and paper.
For this artwork students were expected to select a accomplished woman or a historic woman, and create art out of their appearance. This was one of my first digital projects that I am proud of. The reason for this is because I was able to get myself familiarizes with the tools that were in the application/website. I was able to include bright colors and patterns to make my artwork pop out.
This project I believe is my most professional looking artwork, although their are some errors that I would fix, such as changing the color of the border. I loved that I was able to use different shades of the same color and create illustrated silhouettes of landscape elements. Changing the color adjustment based on the objects distances is a technique that I learned during this project that I believe give more life to one's artwork, because it makes your artwork much more 'realistic'.
