Purpose of the Queue

While discussing sexual topics is allowed on Quora, we however don't allow sexually explicit content in any form outside the scope of an educational purpose.

The Queue in Context

The Adult Content Report queue contains answers, posts and embedded posts written by users. Decisions made in this queue collapse or delete content depending on the which topics had been separately applied to the question.

How to Process the Queue

Answers will appear one at a time. You will see the question and answer:

Follow these steps to process the queue:

• 1. Decide whether or not the answer contains content which is sexual in nature.

     • • If not, label it as OK

       • If yes, go to step 2

  2. Decide whether or not there is sufficient educational purpose to the answer.

     • • If yes, label it as OK

       • If not, go to step 3

         • • Note: whether or not the question asked for adult content is irrelevant. Label adult content as it is defined within the guidelines regardless of the question. The distinction between the 2 scenarios (question asking for adult content or not) will be made in the backend (collapse or deletion), not in the queue.

  3. The Adult Content Report queue is a multi-choice queue. Therefore, select all the violations present:

     • • The violations can take the form of:

         • • Text

           • Image

           • Other

       • Notes:

         • • If more than 3 images are adult content or the sexually explicit appears 4th or later, select "Other Adult Content".

           • If a violation is present within an embedded post, label as Other Adult Content regardless of what that violation is (and review the accompanying text normally if there is any)

           • If an image contains adult content in the form of text (e.g. meme), review it like an image (i.e. "[1st/2nd/3rd] Image is adult" or "Other Adult Content" if it's the 4th image or later).

           • Promoting pornographic websites falls under "Other Adult Content"
