What is a career?
A Career includes all the roles you undertake throughout your life - paid, or unpaid...
Activities that contribute to a career can include:
training
education
employment (i.e. the actual jobs that a person does)
work experience (e.g. interning)
community activities
enterprise activities
volunteer work
leisure activities
Use the Text-to-mindmap tool (or write on paper) and create as many links as you can from the video about all the factors making up this person's career.
What skills did they enjoy, subjects did they take or work exploration did they do? What do they plan in terms of their career path in the future?
This year has been all about exploring various opportunities, through your Elements and Escape courses as well as Extracurricular Activities - and planting some roots in your areas of interest. Can you mind map some of those interests and the links they might have to different career fields?
