Easter: Celebrating the Joy of the Resurrection and the life of our chaplain

Our School community joyfully celebrated Easter, the most important feast of the Christian faith, remembering with hope and gratitude the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. On Tuesday, 7 April students and staff gathered on the court to participate in the All School Easter Mass rejoicing that  Easter is a time of new life, joy, and renewal, believing that love is stronger than death and that hope always triumphs.

In Pre-School and Elementary, it was beautiful to see our children learning about the true meaning of Easter—not only through symbols and traditions, but by understanding the message of Jesus’ victory over sin and death. Through prayers, reflections, and celebrations, the students were invited to experience the joy of the Resurrection and the call to live with kindness, mercy, and love. 

A special moment within this Easter season was honoring the life of our chaplain, Monsignor André Sampaio.  Filled with gratitude, many OLM families and parishioners celebrated his presence among us at the 18:00 mass on the Sunday of the Good Shepard, recognizing his dedication, faith, and loving guidance. It was a joyful opportunity to give thanks for the gift of his life and for his vocation. 

May the spirit of Easter continue to inspire our hearts and help our entire community grow in faith, hope, and love.

Páscoa: Celebrando a Alegria da Ressurreição e a vida do nosso capelão

Nossa comunidade OLM celebrou com alegria a Páscoa, a festa mais importante da fé cristã, lembrando, com esperança e gratidão, a ressurreição de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Na terça-feira, 7 de abril, alunos e staff reuniram-se na quadra para participar da All School Easter Mass, celebrando a Páscoa como tempo de vida nova, alegria e renovação, acreditando que o amor é mais forte do que a morte e a esperança sempre triunfa.

No Pre-School e Elementary, foi lindo ver nossas crianças aprendendo sobre o verdadeiro significado da Páscoa -  não apenas por meio de símbolos e tradições, mas também compreendendo a mensagem da vitória de Jesus sobre o pecado e a morte. Por meio de orações, reflexões e celebrações, os alunos foram convidados a vivenciar a alegria da ressurreição e o chamado para viver com bondade, misericórdia e amor.

Um momento especial neste tempo pascal foi a homenagem à vida de nosso capelão, Monsenhor André Sampaio. Cheias de gratidão, muitas famílias da OLM e paroquianos celebraram sua presença entre nós, na missa das 18h no Domingo do Bom Pastor, reconhecendo sua dedicação, fé e orientação amorosa. Foi uma excelente oportunidade para agradecer pelo dom de sua vida e por sua vocação.

Que o espírito da Páscoa continue a inspirar nossos corações e a ajudar toda a nossa comunidade a crescer na fé, na esperança e no amor.
