Season II Update

Our Lancers continue to represent our School with pride, determination, and sportsmanship as Season II progresses. It has been inspiring to see our student-athletes demonstrate not only competitive excellence, but also the core values that define our program.

Upcoming Events

• MS AASB Tournament (Middle School)

From 2–8 May, our Middle School teams will compete in the MS AASB Tournament Season II, in Futsal, Volleyball, and Cheerleading. This is an excellent opportunity for our student-athletes to challenge themselves, build connections, and represent OLM on a larger stage. Participating schools include: Graded (São Paulo), Chapel (São Paulo), PACA (São Paulo), EAB (Brasília), School of the Nations (Brasília), Pan American School of Salvador, EAR (Escola Americana de Recife), EARJ (Rio de Janeiro), EABH (Belo Horizonte), EAC (Campinas), and Our Lady of Mercy American School (OLM).

• Friendship Festival (5th and 6th Grades)

We are also looking forward to the Friendship Festival, where our 5th and 6th Grade students will participate in Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal, Cheerleading, and a variety of fun and engaging activities. This event celebrates participation, teamwork, and the joy of sport in a supportive environment, supported by a philosophy of healthy integration and competition among International schools, promoting new friendships and important experiences in the formation of students. The proposal contemplates all skill levels and promotes learning and improvement of the sports involved in a healthy educational setting.

We will enter the 27th edition of the Festival, with OLM being one of the creators of the event, in partnership with NR.

• RJISL League

Our teams have achieved very good results in the RJISL League so far, and we are proud to share that the semi-finals are just around the corner. The commitment and growth shown by our athletes throughout the season have been outstanding.

Próximos Eventos

• Torneio MS AASB (Middle School)

De 2 a 8 de maio, as equipes do Middle School participarão do Torneio MS AASB – Season II, nas modalidades de futsal, voleibol e cheerleading. Esta é uma excelente oportunidade para que nossos alunos-atletas se desafiem, construam conexões e representem a OLM em um cenário mais amplo. Este evento celebra a participação, o trabalho em equipe e a alegria do esporte em um ambiente acolhedor. O Festival é um evento esportivo baseado em uma filosofia de integração saudável e competição entre escolas internacionais, promovendo novas amizades e experiências importantes na formação dos alunos. A proposta contempla todos os níveis de habilidade e incentiva a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento esportivo em um ambiente educacional saudável.

Esta será a 27ª edição do Festival, sendo a OLM uma das       escolas criadoras do evento, em parceria com o NR.

Nossas equipes vêm alcançando ótimos resultados na Liga RJISL até o momento e estamos orgulhosos em participar das semifinais, que estão se aproximando. O comprometimento e a evolução demonstrados pelos nossos alunos-atletas ao longo da temporada têm sido excepcionais.
