Happy November Bulldog Families! In October, we talked about the difference between big problems and small problems. In guidance this month, we are talking about Kelso's Choices. This is a conflict resolution program that helps children solve their own small problems. If it's a big problem, it is okay to ask for help from a grown-up. If it's a small problem, you should try to solve it on your own by choosing two ideas from Kelso's wheel (see below). Kelso is a frog puppet that helps teach the lessons. We are also talking about our PBIS word of the month, RESPONSIBILITY! Ask your child what is means to be responsible at home and at school. Review the activities below with your child to strengthen these concepts. Thank you for all your help at home!!
