Happy November! In Social Studies, we learned about Election Day. We even had our own voting experience in class. We voted on which movement break we should do. Great job, Little Voters! 🗳️❤️🤍💙
We enjoyed listening to the story, Turkey Trouble. Don't forget to start working on our Turkey Project due back on Monday, November 17th. Have fun and get creative! 🦃

We love to wake up "Mama Echo" and "Baby Echo" each day. They help us learn our letters and sounds! In the first unit, we will learn how to identify lowercase letters and sounds.

In Kindergarten, we will learn to identify and write high frequency words (sight words). We will also practicing using high frequency words in full sentences. For example, "I am ____ years old."

In math, we continued learning how to compare numbers 6-10. We also reviewed counting and writing numbers 6-10 in our math centers. Great work, Little Mathematicians!

Every FRIDAY is Sailor Spirit Day! Feel free to dress your child in School #6/Oceanside gear, anchors, or anything blue!
Please empty your child's folder each day after school!
We are a NUT free school. Please send the label of ingredients for foods that are not in packaging.
Please remember that the children must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in recess and gym on Day 3.
Please don't forget to send library books back in on Day 6. Check out the district calendar on the district website to follow our six day cycle!
Please continue to bring your ID with you at dismissal. It is a School #6 policy to always have your ID with you at dismissal. In the event that there is a substitute teacher, you will be required to show identification.
