Mrs. Lake

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Lake and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher. I am so excited to meet your child and I look forward to “sailing through Kindergarten” with you this year!

This is my 13th year teaching in Oceanside School District and my 12th year teaching Kindergarten at the magical School #6! I absolutely LOVE teaching little ones and my priority is that every child feels safe, loved and cared for in my classroom. 

My family is very important to me. I have two beautiful daughters, Emilia and Scarlett. Emilia (Emmy) is 3.5 years old and she loves to listen to stories, sing songs and play at the playground. Scarlett just turned 1 this summer. She is the happiest baby in the world and her favorite thing to do is play with her big sister. 

I believe in a strong home-school connection. It is important that we work together as a team and I look forward to partnering with you through your child's Kindergarten journey. I will do everything in my power to instill a love of learning in your child and I am confident that, together, we will make this the best year ever!
