Spirit Week was a blast! We loved dressing up each day with our friends!
We celebrated a special birthday this week. Happy Birthday, Lior!
We had a BLAST at a Magic Show on Monday. We were laughing out loud the entire time! Be sure to check out Brian Richards Magic online. Thank you to our PTA for arranging a wonderful show for us to enjoy!
We celebrated the 100th Day of School. We had so much fun learning and playing with numbers 1-100 ALL DAY long!
We celebrated Valentine's Day with a fun party. Thank you again to our parent volunteers! We also loved sharing our valentines with one another. Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️
We wish you all a restful February break. We will see you back in school on Monday, February 23rd!

We love to wake up "Mama Echo" and "Baby Echo" each day. They help us learn our letters and sounds! In the third unit, we will continue to learn how to "tap out" words.
This week we learned:
How to tap out (read) CVC words (ex. cat, mop, fit, etc.)
How to tap and spell CVC words
In Kindergarten, we will learn to identify and write high frequency words (sight words). We will also practicing using high frequency words in full sentences. For example, "I am ____ years old."
This week we learned:
one, two, three, four, five, love
In math, we learned about 2D shapes. Great work, Little Mathematicians!
If you would like your child to order lunch, please place a note in your child's folder. 🥪

Every FRIDAY is Sailor Spirit Day! Feel free to dress your child in School #6/Oceanside gear, anchors, or anything blue!
Please empty your child's folder each day after school!
We are a NUT free school. Please send the label of ingredients for foods that are not in packaging.
Please remember that the children must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in recess and gym on Day 3.
Please don't forget to send library books back in on Day 6. Check out the district calendar on the district website to follow our six day cycle!
Please continue to bring your ID with you at dismissal. It is a School #6 policy to always have your ID with you at dismissal. In the event that there is a substitute teacher, you will be required to show identification.
