Literacy Assessment in Kindergarten

The PAD (abive) was designed by OCDSB SLPs and educators. It is more streamlined than the QPAS which tests for less essential concepts like word awareness and rhyme. The PAD also takes automaticity into account, and has an implied focus more on the phonemic level which we know is what impacts reading the most.
