Hotspot

Troubleshooting & How To's

We have a limited supply of AT&T and Verizon devices. If one works better than the other, we will try to get you set up with the device that will work in your area.

Once you are done using a device, please turn it in with the power cord and case so we can check it out to another student.

We have a limited supply of AT&T and Verizon Hotspot devices.

You can request a hotspot by filling out this electronic form.

Once the request is received, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted by our Technology help desk.

The hotspot is not working with my school device.

Try connecting to a website you have not used before to make sure it's not the website.

Please try connecting another device to the Hotspot to see if the hotspot is a problem or if your school device is the problem.

Try powering off the hotspot and powering it back on.

Make sure you are getting 3 bars of signal on the hotspot.

Reset the white AT&T Hotspots by pressing the reset button under the SIM/RESET cover. The Verizon units have the reset button under the battery cover. Removing the battery will reset the device also.

The hotspot may have run out of data.

Hotspots are limited to 2,000 MB/day and 19,000MB/month. Please do not use the hotspots to browse non-school related content.

If you are frequently running out of data, we can allocate more and may do so for you.
