Your OASD Google account will be deactivated at the end of June.
This means you will lose access to your Gmail and Google files at that time.
Review the directions below on how to transfer your files to a personal email account.
Chromebook and Charger return due date: June 6, 2025
Return your Chromebook and charger on June 6 when you arrive at graduation rehearsal.
Seniors can return their devices to the REC anytime that week if they are done early.
Bring the Chromebook charged so that we can confirm that it is in working order.
Devices not returned will be marked lost and fees will be added accordingly.
In preparation for the return, see the frequently asked questions below.
Contact helpdesk@oasd.org for any questions about the return process.
Fees for damaged or lost devices will be added to the student’s
Skyward account and all payments are due by June 27, 2025.
How do we know if we have the correct Chromebook and charger?
Students can log into their Destiny Discover account through ClassLink to view books and resources they've checked out. After logging into ClassLink, open Destiny Discover and Select “My Stuff” and then “Checkouts” from the top navigation to confirm Chromebook and charger asset tags. The asset tag can be found on the back of the Chromebook and charger.
What if my child lost their charger/Chromebook and/or has a different one than was checked out?
If you return an item that was not issued to you and your original device/charger was not returned, a fee will be added to your Skyward Family Access account for the item(s) not returned. If the original charger is turned in at a later date, we will remove the fee. The fee for not returning or losing a charger is $25, and the Chromebook fee is $250.
What if there is damage to the Chromebook?
Normal wear and tear are expected. For those that purchased insurance at the beginning of the school year, damage that is deemed accidental will be repaired without an additional fee. Excessive or intentional damage (cracked screen, missing keys, top or bottom cover damage, deep scratches, etching, multiple/deep dents) will result in an added fee to your Skyward Family Access account. The fee for screen repair is $75 and the fee for top/bottom cover repair is $50.
Can we leave stickers on the Chromebook?
Stickers, drawing, and coloring on the machine needs to be removed before returning. Any coloring or stickers left on the device or damage due to them may result in a cleaning fee (students have been instructed not to use stickers). The cleaning fee is $25.
