Receiving & Returning Chromebooks
Chromebook Distribution
Students will receive a new Chromebook in 4th, 7th, and 10th grade that they will use for three years.
Parents/Guardians and students must complete the District’s device acceptance agreement during Online Registration before the Chromebook can be issued.
Distribution dates will vary depending on grade level and school, all information will be communicated to students and families.
Returning Chromebooks
Students leaving the district must return district issued Chromebooks to the Library on or before their last day of school. A $250 fee will be added to the Skyward account for any Chromebooks not returned. A $25 fee will be added for charging cords that are not returned.
Students and families will be notified when their Chromebook is due for exchange and are expected to adhere to the communicated timing guidelines. Devices that are not returned on exchange date will be considered lost and fees will be assessed accordingly.
Students must return the exact Chromebook and charger that was issued to them. Families may not purchase their own charger to replace a lost/stolen item.
