Canvas

Canvas is the learning management system that OASD teachers in grades 5-12 use to share course learning materials, assignments, and give feedback on student work. Students can access through the student Chrome bookmarks or at ocon.instructure.com.

Parents can set up an account with a student pairing code (account pairing continues from year to year and does not need to be done more than once). Skyward is the official information system used for grading and reporting. More information about the two systems can be found here.

To get started, review this OASD Canvas Parent Handout. In addition, the information below provides parents, guardians, and students with an introduction to the purpose of a learning management system (LMS) and resources related to using Canvas.
