Assignment 5

We used the forward and backward motion of linear actuators to create changes in light and shadow along both the horizontal and vertical directions. On the mirrored surface, we supported colored acrylic panels of different shapes and colors with wooden sticks of varying heights. One linear actuator was placed on the mirror surface, while another was suspended from above, with lights mounted on the top of both actuators. As the two lights alternated and overlapped, shadows of different colors were projected onto the wall. The movement of the linear actuators caused these shadows to appear as if they were growing and swaying.
