Health & Immunization Requirements

New York State law and New York University require all newly admitted students to complete several health-related requirements:

• Submit Health History Form

• Submit Immunization Records

• Confirm or Waive NYU Health Insurance

• Complete Online Tutorials

Steinhardt students are automatically enrolled in a health insurance plan (domestic students in the Basic Plan and international students in the Comprehensive Plan). You may waive insurance if you already have comparable coverage. Learn more on the Student Insurance website.

NYU requires all students who plan to be on campus at NYU's New York campus and other US sites to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Read the COVID-19 vaccine requirement FAQ for more information.

If health requirements are not met and required information has not been received by the Student Health Center (SHC) your registration will be canceled and you will be de-enrolled 30 days after classes begin.
