If you have a registration hold other than an Advisor hold on your account, you may be prevented from registering. View your holds before your registration window by clicking on "Holds" on the right hand side of the page in your main Student Center window. If you come across registration holds, you should address them ASAP.
Your registration may be blocked (i.e. administrative “stops” may be put on your record) for any of the following four reasons:
Academic issues (see the graduate advisors)
Billing issues (see the Bursar’s Office)
Missing Immunization records (see the Health Services Office)
Visa issues (see the Office of Global Services)

Advisor Clearance Hold - you haven't met with an advisor to have classes cleared and your hold lifted. Meet with one ASAP!
Missing Credentials Holds - NYU is missing proof of your high school or college graduation. Follow missing credentials directions here. MCC advisors cannot lift this hold.
Sexual Assault Prevention Training - You haven't completed the training! MCC advisors cannot lift this hold.
AlcoholEdu for College - You haven't completed the two-part course required for all students. MCC advisors cannot lift this hold.
Past due balance or Financial Clearance - A payment to the university is past due. Please contact the Bursar's office to resolve this hold.
Immunization Hold - You haven't submitted your immunization requirements. Learn how to submit your requirements here.
