How to Add and Drop a Class during the Drop/Add Period

After Albert closes for registration at the end of the 2nd week of the Fall and Spring terms, you must initiate an add or drop to your schedule via Albert which will need to be approved by your academic advisor before it is processed.

MCC advisors will not register students for a class without an instructor's permission.

Students who drop courses after the end of the 2nd week of the term receive a W (withdrawal) grade on their transcript. The last day to drop a class is end of the 9th week of the term.
