If you are a young carer or young adult carer, there are organisations that can offer additional advice and support.
Local help is available from the Northamptonshire Carers Young Carers Team.
The The Children's Society also provides advice, guidance and resources for young carers on its website.
You can talk to us if you would like support getting in touch with any of these services.
Who is Sidekick for?
Run by Action for Children to support young people aged 13 to 18 in the UK - and up to 25 if you have special educational needs. They first launched Sidekick to support young carers. Since then, they have seen how many young people needed support. Now they support all young people aged 13 to 18 in the UK.
