"I moved here to New Rochelle from Ohio two years ago because my dad is a pastor. So moving around a lot is a norm for me. Coming here, I attended Ursuline for two years, after which I moved to New Rochelle High School because of the affordability and abundance of academic resources and opportunities. Living in New Rochelle is quite convenient because I like how it is in between the city and the suburbs. It's easy to make connections and establish relationships because you can find open and friendly people here. In terms of transferring high schools, the transition was quite a big one. I had come from a very calm environment in Ursuline to somewhere that has various different kinds of people and things going on, so you don't really know what to expect. But even though it's a large adjustment, l'm grateful to God for an opportunity to expand my academic capacity, which is made possible by the countless educational resources here at New Ro. I'm currently taking AP English Language, AP physics, Pre AP Spanish, Science Research and US History. I'm also considering joining New Ro's Math and Science Honor Societies as well as their Debate team, because of my love for debating. Being a part of New Rochelle is such a blessing and living here is an experience I will never forget."
