The Graphic Design club creates for school and community.
ANYTHING is possible with this club. Its for students to achieve objectives, put on resumes, add to college recommendations:
Be a leader! - you can come to me with an idea for a project or a community project that you want to spearhead - take the reigns and I will help you set up, get materials, use my software, use my room and my guidance in your project.

Our club has grown in the past two years under excellent student leadership. They have had organized multiple lohelping the elementary schools with graphics and logos, posters, and fundraisers.
The Graphic Design club has also had holiday painting parties, in which everyone paints their own pumpkin or ornament.
The club has also painted a mural for the last four musicals, Mary Poppins, Sound of Music (hanging in the cafeteria now), Addams Family and for Chicago in 2019.
Be a community volunteer - painting!
We painted the snowmen in the center of town several years ago. It was a fun project that we will see for years during the holidays at the corner of Springfield Avenue and South Street.
Be an intern artist to a business in town!
Last year, a small business needed an artist to make posters. They reached out to our school and I passed the opportunity to the Graphic Design Club members, who created posters .
Be an active supporter of our public art in our town! The New Providence Public Art committee is looking for student liaisons to come and help support public art in our town. We are installing outdoor sculptures and community-driven works of art on the walls of the Municipal Building.
Create Art for our School!! Last year, several artists in our club designed art for t-shirts, drinking bottles, the school play, community service projects.......
Decorate sneakers! One year we painted and drew on Vans sneakers and entered a national contest. We didn't win but the shoes were amazing and most went home (and some went on feet!) and we created a video of the artists on YouTube.
This year, you decide - fill out the questionnaire below.
We will share the results and have elections for officers at the second meeting:
