Each student will research the life and career of a modern architect, choosing from a list of famous architects.
You will give an oral presentation to the class that is under 5 minutes, with visuals, on the background and most interesting facts about this architect and how their work has influenced architecture today.
The oral presentation will be graded with a rubric with 5 criteria:
1. Content - who, where, when, what (birth-death, nationality, influences, location of best works, explanation on their style and their specific influence on the world of architecture today)
2. Visuals - of architect, their influences, and their works - (your attached visuals in slides) Large photos to
3. Organization is well-paced, easy to follow, effective organization of information
4. Oral skills - speech is clear, not reading from notes
5. Posture and Delivery - Eye-contact, speaking to the class with professional attitude, no distractions
