Here are some resources for the Care Certificate.
The Care Certificate was introduced in 2015 as a standard of training for all health and social care staff to meet as they join the industry.
You should be attaining your Care Certificate within a target 3 months of joining us, but some people will take a bit longer.
We are currently using e-learning for our Care Certificate 'knowledge element' training, but we will use the traditional workbooks from time to time where somebody finds this a better way to learn.
The practical element of the Care Certificate will be observed in the field by supervisors as you work.
If nothing else, these resources are great to read to help you understand more about each of the 15 standards.
