Click on the following link below that will take you to word lists for all sounds. Look at your child's IEP to determine what sound(s) are being targeted and practice ONE sound target today. Try and have your child practice words with their target sound 50 times!

This first activity targets answering questions based upon specific vocabulary. To expand on the activity and to increase language, have your child express and describe the animals. What is an alligator? (It is an animal, it lives in a swamp, it has sharp teeth, etc.). If this is too difficult for your child, you can ask them Yes/No questions about the scenes and animals.

*This second activity targets answering questions based upon location of items. To expand, have your child tell you where the object is in a sentence (The ball in under the table). Have your child use their "talker" and their voice to express location.

*Second activity targets vocabulary (synonyms/antonyms). To expand, have your child use the target words in sentences to show they understand the meaning of words.

*Third activity targets comparing and constrasting. Have your child complete the activty by finding what is the "same" and "different" about to different words. To expand, have your child verbally express what is the same and different about the two target vocabulary words in complete sentences.

Stuttering Lesson

Copy and paste the following link below about "Stuttering" in search bar. The activity targets your child's understanding of stuttering vocabulary so that he/she understands and learns all that they can about their own stuttering. If children are not directly taught stuttering vocabulary and facts about stuttering, it will be hard for them to truely understand what is happening when they are stuttering themselves.

After your child has completed the activity, have them express what type of stutter they feel like happens to them the most: block, sound prolngation, repetition, etc.

Speech Sounds Lesson

Fun Friday!

First, get out one of your word lists or previous flashcards that you made with your target sounds. If you cannot find them you can locate word lists at the following site:
