How to change your pronouns on your NIHR email signature
How is the email signature changing?
We are changing how pronouns will appear on the NIHR email signature. If you update your pronouns, your email signature will now look like this ➡️
Why is the email signature changing?
We have taken this step to ensure pronouns are more prominent on the NIHR email signature and it is easier for colleagues to update their pronouns.
Keeping the NIHR Hub Directory updated
The NIHR Hub Directory is a valuable resource for all staff to be able to find colleagues and understand their role within the organisation. View how to update the NIHR Hub Directory.
How do I add my pronouns to my NIHR email signature
We welcome people sharing their pronouns in their email signatures if they feel comfortable doing so. This is to help normalise sharing pronouns and make it easier for trans or non-binary people to share theirs too without feeling singled out.
Open the NIHR Hub
Select the Directory icon
After the slide out window appears on the right of the screen, select the ‘Edit’ button
Select ‘Add under ‘Predefined Extra Information’ then ‘Pronouns’ from the dropdown.
Write your pronouns in the following format: He/Him
