Connecting comms across NIHR
The NIHR Internal Communications team is a group of comms representatives from across the centres - that’s NIHR Coordinating Centre (NIHRCC) and the Research Delivery Network (RDNCC).
We don’t replace centre or employer comms with colleagues - we add value. We provide a cross-NIHR communications service and link up the wider NIHR comms community across the regions.
What we do
Join up cross-NIHR comms to deliver consistent and timely messages without bombarding colleagues
Provide colleagues with access to DHSC and NIHR leaders and insight from cross-cutting programmes of work
Create and share content to tell the NIHR ‘story’ and encourage colleagues to represent us as NIHR ambassadors
Encourage collaboration and regional comms across NIHR’s infrastructure, schools and units
Work with us
We are the connecting comms function for cross-NIHR activity - we have an established cross-NIHR and regional comms network and report into the NIHR Communications Programme Board.
Keep in touch with your centre communications teams to share ideas, opportunities and issues at an early stage of any cross-NIHR project or activity. Our centre representatives will share your contributions with the team during our fortnightly meetings.
