The East Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) is one of 12 regional Networks across England. We are committed to providing the supporting infrastructure that allows research to take place in numerous settings so that patients, carers and the public can benefit from new treatments and therapies, improved diagnosis and care, and are empowered to live healthier lifestyles.
Hosted by University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, we work with partners to deliver research across Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Northamptonshire and Nottingham. We are funded by the Department of Health and Social Care.
We are passionate about the contribution that health and social care research can make to people's lives, and work collaboratively with NHS providers and other organisations across the East Midlands to translate that passion into the effective delivery of studies.
Working with partners both inside and outside the NHS, our aim is to provide opportunities for a wider range of people to be part of research.
We are proud to offer our experience and expertise, and to collaborate with organisations to support their ambitions to deliver research.
Organisations that we work with include schools, GP Practices, hospitals, care homes, prisoners and community settings.
We understand that our partners are at different stages of their research journeys, and take a flexible, agile approach to provide the necessary levels of support and guidance.
Whether working with organisations who are entirely new to research, using our insights to help increase the scale and scope of research at developing sites, or providing established partners with ongoing engagement and insight, we truly have something to offer to everyone.
We are also passionate about involving participants in the research we support.
