The C.U.T.E. project is completed each semester by undergraduates at Nicholls State University in Southern Louisiana. Students entering student teaching were often frustrated by their lack of technology instruction in their senior year of coursework. Often times it was reported that students do not remember the necessary technology taught in the sophomore level course when finally able to implement it into the classroom. Therefore, the C.U.T.E. Tech Tips project was born. As a culminating product in EDUC 251: Technology Integration for Teachers, each group of students created a website page on one topic discussed during the semester. The section was required to include a screencast, written instructions, and lesson ideas and products for the topic chosen. These pages were put together to create this website. It is the hope of the instructor that this product will be used by previous students, future students, and classroom teachers as cutting edge examples of educational technology best practices. Each semester, new topics will be added to the website to provide a free interactive resource for all future and current teachers wishing to successfully integrate technology.
