Cup Tower Challenge

1st Graders have been learning how habits of character help them do work. We will explore these three habits of character: initiative, collaboration, and perseverance, through literature and experience.

Our first team challenge was to build the highest tower using cups from ALL teammates! Each teammate was given 4 cups and given 2 minutes to plan together. After their planning session, teams were given 5 minutes to build! As teams were building, teachers checked in to measure their tower's height.
