Dear Readers,

If you have no desire to try your hand at writing, feel free to skip down to our table of contents below. We have some great stories this quarter. However, if you have ever wanted to put quill to parchment, read on.

Those of you who have followed New Myths for long know that I am a great supporter of the Odyssey Writing Workshop. Those six weeks with Jeanne Cavelos and the other professional writers (Barry Longyear, Craig Shaw Gardner, Nancy Kress, et al) took my writing from 'promising' to solid.

Jeanne Cavelos has just announced that Odyssey will be offering online classes. The first is Showing versus Telling and runs from January 6 through February 10, 2010.

Applications will be accepted now through December 10, 2009.

I may see you there. Any class with Jeanne is worth taking again and again.
