Dear Readers,

Welcome readers. We have some great stories this month, ranging in tone from humerous to frightening to just plain odd. This also marks the first time we've used an artist to illustrate a specific story (Margit Schmitt with Bob Sojka's tale The Attraction of Heavenly Bodies).

There has been a lot of talk about the demise of reading (not going to happen) and massive changes taking place in publishing (well on their way). Book View Cafe offers one such change, detailed below under Non-Fiction.
