NewMyths.com
A quarterly ezine by a community of writers, poets and artists.
Issue 14, March 1, 2011
Dear Reader,
It has come to my attention that NewMyths.com is fast becoming one of the premiere markets for science fiction and fantasy poetry. As a short story writer, I am in awe with the content--and impact--poets manage to pack into a few short lines. Working in the speculative genre presents an additional challenge--taking an essentially emotive art form and deliberately removing the reader by one step from the present day. I think you'll agree that NewMyths.com's poets do a fine job of bringing us into their worlds.
If you enjoy science fiction and fantasy the way I do, then the stories and nonfiction below are sure to give you hours of enjoyment. But take an emotional spin with poets Bruce Boston and Alexandra Seidel as well; you won't be disappointed.
Enjoy,
Scott T. Barnes, Editor
