It has changed my life and it's where my relationship with God, self, and others as well as my vocation grew, formed, and flourished. That is what I hope for most for my students.

Oscar Romero, Catherine of Siena, Dorothy Day, my daughter...These three saints were (maybe with the exception of Dorothy Day) were introverts no one thought much of, but were able to do so much with their lives and the positions they held. All three spoke truth to power including our institutional Catholic Church leaders. They married both social justice and contemplative prayer in the most perfect witness to the statement, "if you want peace work for justice". Furthermore, my own saint in the making is my daughter, I am inspired daily by my daughter's deep faith and care for all of God's creatures and the theological debates she has within herself that she shares with me - she is just love.
