The reason why I love Catholic education is because I can share my faith with my colleagues and with the students I teach. I feel that it is our job as teachers and administrators to help our students grow in their faith and help them on their faith journey. We need to be their strongest advocates.

It means a lot! I am so excited to learn about what it means to be a Latina administrator and how I can help my school continue to be more diverse and encourage Hispanic families to be a part of Catholic Education.

My favorite saint is St. Juan Diego. I love his story because he was a devout catholic, obedient to our mother Mary and persisted until he got her wish granted by the bishop. I feel that sometimes we have to be like Juan Diego and fight for what is right and be persistent, especially when times get rough. We also have to remember that we are not alone. God is always on our side.
