Catholic education has proven capable of transforming lives and communities in amazing ways. It can root people in the liberating love of Jesus, developing people to be more than economic assets.

This is an opportunity to learn from other Latino/a educators about how best to support and encourage my Latino/a students. I also hope to gain concrete tools for promoting outreach to our Latino/a community as a Catholic School.

St. Oscar Romero was a man who relied on the Holy Spirit to find his voice and ultimately use that voice to speak for his people. He comforted the most vulnerable and challenged structures of injustice despite expectations to the contrary.
