All full-time posts are open for work-sharing unless there are exceptional reasons preventing this. All applications for work-sharing will be facilitated as far as possible.
Job-sharers will have pro-rata parity as regards terms and conditions of employment with their full-time colleagues, which will be detailed in their contract of employment.
The scale of pay applicable to work-sharing staff will be a pro-rata proportion of the corresponding point on the scale of pay appropriate to full-time staff.
Employees who have opted for work-sharing will have the opportunity to return to or change to full–time employment at the discretion of management and subject to the following:
The occurrence of a suitable vacancy in the organisation
Having worked on a work-sharing basis for not less than one year
