Connecting
Follow the procedure outlined in Section 1.8 and fill out "Experiment Information Request Form" mentioned there. Then send an email to AERPAW Ops to request credentials to connect to AERPAW Windows device for RF Sensor. After you get the credentials from AERPAW Ops proceed with the steps below.
Download anyDesk
Choose your operating system and click "Download Now" button
Run the Dowloaded AnyDesk.exe file
Type the address 733****** provided by AERPAW Ops and click on connect as shown below.
Type the AnyDesk password provided by AERPAW Ops.
You are now connected to the remote AERPAW Windows device. See the notes below.
If the device is restarted you will need the Windows User credentials that will also be provided by AERPAW operators.
Experimenting
Once connected user can try our sample RF Sensor experiments KRSE1, KRSE2, and KRSE3.
Notes:
1) Important: When the computer restarts the device deletes all the files generated by the users and restores to its initial state using DeepFreeze software. You need to save any files you need before you restart the device. Note that it is fine that you close your anyDesk session and log back in later. As long as the device does not restart the files are not deleted.
2) When the experiment ends and all the work is saved, please send an email to AERPAW Ops so that the device can be prepared for the next user.
3) We notice that sometimes the connection with AnyDesk is laggy and in that case you can use Remote Desktop instructions here to connect to the AERPAW Windows Device for RF Sensor.
