I would like students to practice their Spanish skills at home. I will be posting one activity per week. We will no longer be doing Zoom meetings, but when necessary I will post a video explaining the weekly assignment.

-(20 Points) Drawing:
Here is what you should draw in each square:
1. Family Portrait – Dad vacuuming
2. Monkey unplugs vacuum. Dad is mad.
3. 4am – Family is asleep. Monkey is not sleeping.
4. Monkey turns on the radio. Family is mad.
5. Telephone rings. Monkey puts it in the refrigerator.
6. Dad finds the telephone. Telephone does not ring anymore. Dad is mad.
7. Family puts the monkey in the garage.
8. Police arrive. Monkey is happy. Police is mad.
-(20 Points) Writing:
If you already finished your pictures work on finishing the sentences that go beneath each drawing. These sentences can be found on page 24 in your “Una Semana con Gabi” workbook. The expectation is 2 sentences per box and the sentences should match what is going on in the drawing. Here is a link to the sheet if you need to print it, but it should be in your Spanish folder.

7) Write down the Vocabulary
On your vocabulary sheet, write down the key words for Episode #7. If you do not have a vocabulary sheet, you can print it out from the link below or write the words on a lined paper. You can find the key words in you book “Una Semana con Gabi” on page #40. 8) Review Vocabulary

(After you've opened, click on "open with," then choose "DocHub." From here you can choose "printscreen" to take a picture and then paste. However, the main goal is to learn about and see the Dominican Republic, copying pictures is not necessary.)

Vocabulary categories I recommend reviewing are: Months, Numbers 1, Numbers 2, and Family Tree 1. For each category, do the following (at least one category per week or more if you like!):
1) Write the vocabulary provided on a blank piece of paper. Spanish on one side and English on the other.

2) WRITE & MEMORIZE EPISODE #6
If not finished, write the text on the right side below on the paper provided (or a blank sheet). Once written, draw pictures for each sentence. Last, work on memorizing these sentences - read it in front of a mirror, look at the pictures on page ## and recite, or tell it to someone in your family.
