Welcome to Distance Learning with your favorite Physical Education (P.E.) teachers! We are so blessed to continue to learn side by side each other during this challenging time of being apart. We love our Northshore students and families and we are excited to be able to stay connected through email, Google, and Zoom!
Below you can find different options organized so that you can do at home to stay healthy, fit, and active! During this time we are not going to be grading our students. However, we do want to strongly encourage every student to stay healthy and active.
According to the CDC, Children and adolescents ages 6 through 17 years should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity each day, including daily aerobic – and activities that strengthen bones (like running or jumping) – 3 days each week, and that build muscles (like climbing or doing push-ups) – 3 days each week. https://www.cdc.gov/physicalactivity/basics/children/index.htm
{The Lord Bless you
And Keep you
Make His Face Shine upon you
And be Gracious to you
The Lord Turn His
Face Toward you
And Give you Peace}
{May His Favor be upon you
And a Thousand Generations
Your Family and your Children
And their Children
And their Children}
The Fitness Log is an open template for you to print out at home and record all the fun fitness activities you have been up to! When we come back to school we will share with each other all the fitness and fun we did from home!
