Turnitin Assignments

Turnitin is a Moodle Assignment feature that checks for the originality of student work after it is submitted. If this feature is enabled by a faculty member for an assignment, it will compare a submitted paper against text found in a number of sources. Once an assignment is submitted, your Turnitin status will show as "Queued" (see Figure 1). Once the submission exits the queue, it will display a similarity report percentage.

Turnitin assignments can be submitted using the exact same process as outlined in the section above. No extra steps are needed.

For more information about Turnitin and the similarity report, please direct questions to the faculty member(s) teaching the course.
