William (Bill) Fenrick 

Hello. My name is Bill Fenrick, and I live in Halifax. I have been helping students in Halifax, Vancouver, Regina, Calgary an Tokyo Japan for a very long time. I have a degree in English from Carleton University in Ottawa, and an Education degree from Mount St Vincent and St Mary’s here in Halifax. I love working with students and learning how to help them as best I can.

I have worked at many universities in Canada and one high school. While at the high school, my job was to assist students to become independent learners. I watched their progress during the semester, asked them what they needed help with and made sure they could do what they needed to do without my help as quickly as possible. I was very proud of being able to do this and hope to do it again.

Travelling, watching old movies, reading, swimming and listening to lots of different kinds of music are some of my favourite things. I used to be pretty good at playing guitar, too. This year I would love to learn a new skill like kayaking or scuba diving. Both of those things look like fun. And I have a cat, so animals and nature are also important to me.

Hopefully, this will give you an idea of who I am, what I like and how I can work with you. I really like people and making a meaningful connection with my students makes me happy to work as an educator and content expert. Thank you.
