Shannon Myles 

Shannon is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator and aspiring researcher specializing in Biology and marine sciences. He earned his Bachelor's degree with Honours in Biology from Dalhousie University. Currently, he is furthering his education through a Master's of Science in Biology at Dalhousie, learning and doing science amongst a diverse group of researchers.

Shannon has held assistant teaching positions in university-level courses in Biology, Genetics, & Molecular Biology at Dalhousie. He also professionally translates written and spoken content EN-FR interchangeably, which speaks of his interests for listening, understanding, and communications. Shannon has also taught extensively in sports, during and following his career as a high-performance sprint canoer. He takes pride in sharing his passions and working with individuals to convey complex (and simple) ideas.

Working at KVA, he hopes to transmit to his students some of his experiences and confidence as a self-directed learner, all while enjoying the topic of life - Biology.
