No prior knowledge of Cyber Security or computer science is necessary, just a basic understanding of computers and computer
systems. However, students should come with a passion for technology, problem solving, critical thinking, and learning. Students
will learn about Networks, Systems Security, Cryptography, Information Security, Risk Identification, and much more. Students are
expected to complete online learning modules as independent work and will participate in simulations and authentic, cyber security
applications during class. Students are also expected to complete, as part of this course, related cyber security certifications: A+,
Network+, Microsoft Security Fundamentals, and Security+.
