The inaugural cohort of Ambassadors worked hard on a variety of zero waste projects this year including conducting an inventory of all the indoor waste bins across the three campuses, helping classmates sort in the dining halls, and tabling at Earth Fest. The projects aimed to improve bin signage, encourage students to properly sort their waste into landfill, recycling and compost, and get the SMCCCD community excited about sustainability.
