Elementary
Bonjour, campers! In Week 4 (June 29-July 3) our Elementary explorers will travel to France to discover art, music, culture, and the beauty of Paris. Campers will learn about famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and explore the work of artists such as Monet and Degas while discovering why Paris is called the “City of Light.”
Stories & Culture: Madeline, French folktales, and This Is Paris while learning about famous landmarks
Art & Creativity: Impressionist painting inspired by Monet, Eiffel Tower drawings, and pastel landscapes
Music & Movement: French songs, accordion music, and simple folk dances
Gross Motor Activities: Pétanque, hopscotch, and cooperative outdoor games
Food & Taste: Baguette with butter or jam, crepes, croissants, cheese, and fruit parfaits
STEM Fun: Explore tower structures, symmetry in art, measuring ingredients for crepes, and map exploration
Campers will experience the art, flavors, and playful traditions of France through creativity, movement, and hands-on discovery.
