Elementary
¡Hola, campers! In Week 3 (June 22-26) our Elementary explorers will travel to Mexico to discover colorful traditions, ancient pyramids, music, and delicious foods. Campers will learn about the great pyramids of Mexico, hear traditional folktales, and explore the vibrant art and music that are part of Mexican culture.
Stories & Culture: Mexican folktales, My Colors, My World, and stories about traditions and daily life in Mexico
Art & Creativity: Papel picado banners, tin art, mural painting inspired by Diego Rivera, and weaving patterns
Music & Movement: Mariachi music, folklórico dance, and rhythm activities with Latin music
Gross Motor Activities: Lotería (Mexican bingo), soccer, and classic playground games
Food & Taste: Tortillas, quesadillas, guacamole, elote, rice and beans, and fruit with chili lime seasoning
STEM Fun: Explore pyramid structures, patterns in folk art, and simple map work
Campers will discover the colors, sounds, and traditions of Mexico while exploring culture through art, food, music, and playful learning.
