Pre-Children's House Summer Program Schedule
Requires minimum registration of 2 days per selected week. Summer programming runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. Before Care
8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Morning work cycle
11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. Nap
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. After Care
Registration will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Pre-Children's House space is limited to 12 students per day. MSOW reserves the right to cancel classes not reaching minimum attendance to run.
Children's House Summer Program Schedule

7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. Before Care
8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. The Montessori Morning Program 30 minute arrival window, 3 hour Montessori work cycle with a Montessori trained teacher and 30 minute outdoor recess (weather permitting).
12 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Nap (3-4yrs) PM Theme (5 yrs) Children under age 5 will nap/rest. Children over age 5 will participate in the weekly PM Theme. A weekly theme schedule will be published by the end of March.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. After Care

Elementary Summer Program Schedule
For rising 1st years-6th years offers flexible scheduling options.
7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. Before Care
8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Montessori Math & Language* 15 minute arrival window, and a hour-long work cycle focusing on math and language with a Montessori trained teacher.
9:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. The AM Theme Program 15 minute group snack, 2 hour educational theme-based program, 30 minute recess (or early lunch on swim days). A weekly theme schedule will be published by the end of March.
12 p.m. - 3 p.m. The PM Enrichment Program
Monday and Friday afternoons- 30 minute lunch, followed by enrichment activities
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons- students will travel via city bus to Horeb Springs Aquatic Center with MSOW staff chaperones for an afternoon of swimming.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. After Care

*Math and Language: Focus on Skill Retention
8:00 am - 9:15 am, Monday through Friday For Elementary Students
Many students benefit from continuing to work with Montessori math and language materials, under the guidance of trained Montessori teachers, throughout the summer to increase retention of knowledge and skills. Summer vacation is almost 100 days!
We encourage you to complete Math and Language enrollment at least a week in advance to allow time for the teacher to prepare for your child. Montessori Summer Program Math and Language teachers will have access to assessment data from the 25-26 school year to provide targeted instruction for each individual student.
